Matt 24 does show the correct sequence with the saints being gathered to Christ at the 2nd coming following the great time of tribulation.
We can trust it.
In Rev 20 we are shown the "FIRST" resurrection in vs 2-5 and it is said to be the resurrection of the "Holy and Blessed".
This is the same resurrection of the dead in Christ "who rise FIRST" that we see in 1Thess 4.
It fits the same sequence we see explicitly in Matt 24.
There have ALREADY BEEN a number of very large devastating earthquakes that have come upon mankind in the past 2000 years. There is no Bible doctrine stating that earthquakes of this magnitude can not happen while saints are on earth.
